Gonzalo Fernandez

Gonzalo started making films in 2002 during his education at the Willem de Kooning Academy. He continued with music videos and television in the camera, editing and directing department before going to the Netherlands Film Academy as a director. In 2015 he graduated with the fiction film Lazarus which was nominated for a student Oscar. He made films like La Isola and Colosseum. In 2018 he wrote and directed Tom Adelaar, a film that was nominated for 2 Dutch Academy Awards. Gonzalo is currently developing multiple bigger projects that we can hopefully share soon. The graphic novel 'De Neukpiet' which he wrote together with Ashar Medina is now available online.
